Sunny Easter Chocolate Pots

A delicious Easter treat

  • 300g cream
  • 90g chopped milk chocolate
  • 90g chopped dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 x large Sunny Queen Free Range egg yolks
  • 20g butter
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 5 x tablespoon cocoa
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • Step 1.

    Boil cream in a pot. Once boiled, remove from heat and add the chocolate and stir until melted

  • Step 2.

    Combine yolks and vanilla in a separate bowl, then add to cream mixture and return to medium/low heat

  • Step 3.

    Continue to stir for 1-2 minutes, add butter, and stir to combine

  • Step 4.

    Pass through a fine sieve and pour into ramekins

  • Step 5.

    Set in the fridge for at least 3 hours

  • Step 6.

    Boil spaghetti in water with 3 tablespoon cocoa and 3 tablespoon sugar

  • Step 7.

    Drain the pasta, leaving 1cm of the water in the pot

  • Step 8.

    Mix remaining cocoa and sugar together, sprinkle over the pasta

  • Step 9.

    Mix through well then chill until cool. Once cooled, roll pasta into nest formation

  • Step 10.

    Sit “nests” on chocolate pots and fill with Easter eggs
