Cage Free Eggs

SunnyHiRes_shadow-2

Happy Hens lovingly raised with room to play

Our fresh Cage Free eggs are laid by chooks that live inside large barns. This means they are comfortable and protected from other animals and harsh weather, while being able to flap their wings, socialise, and perch. Cosy nesting boxes are at the ready so they can lay their eggs in comfort and privacy whenever they like.

And to ensure ongoing strict compliance to our Cage Free standard, our Cage Free farms are audited regularly by independent auditors.

NEW WHITE EGGS

NEW White EGGS

Currently, there is no Australian study data providing the potential environmental benefits of local white egg production. Sunny Queen Farms is evaluating potential environmental/commercial benefits.

Since February 2025, our White Flocks will have grown enough to move to the laying shed. Throughout the hens' life cycle, we will collect egg production data, including feed consumption, water usage, and hen productivity metrics, to assess the potential environmental benefits. The same data set will also be collected for brown eggs to allow for a direct comparison.
